Wimbledon Tickets Explained
When it comes to choosing the right ticket to suit your Wimbledon needs, it can be quite confusing. So to help you decide what’s best for you, we have put together a guide to the different types of tickets available and the fantastic hospitality packages offered at The Championships, Wimbledon 2016.
Each year, Wimbledon attracts a worldwide audience of hundreds of millions but only a tiny percentage are privileged enough to sample the magic and excitement of one of the most prestigious Grand Slam tennis championships first-hand. This is because tickets for the event are extremely popular and sell out quickly.
We have a set allocation of tickets specifically for the overseas market, with programmes including top London hotels, museum entry and lunches.
For the UK market, again we have a specific allocation of tickets and packages, please visit the Keith Prowse website.
The Public Ballot
The majority of Centre, No.1 and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance via a public ballot. The closing date for 2016 is the 31st December 2015 and successful applicants will be notified from February 2016 onwards.
*Please Note due to ongoing improvements to No.1 Court during this year’s Tournament, there will be minimal or no cover on court seats. Please come prepared for hot, cold or wet weather.
