Where are my seats located?

Given Keith Prowse’s and The Wimbledon Experience’s long standing appointment at The Championships, our official seats have traditionally been very well located on all the show courts. However, we do not get our actual seat allocations for The Championships until just before the tournament. So we are unable to confirm exact ticket locations until the day you attend. The seats allocated by the All England Club are not suitable for wheelchairs* and babies and toddlers will not be admitted to the Show Courts.

*Please advise us if you require wheelchair seats. These are subject to availability.

Can I book transfers to/from the airport/hotel?

We can provide you with transfers to and from the airport and also to and from The Championships, Wimbledon.

You can also book a private chauffeur driven transfer from the airport to your hotel or to Wimbledon or have a car at your disposal all day. See our transfers page for more details.

What information do I need to provide when I book?

 

  • Your full name
  • Full postal address
  • Email address
  • Contact telephone number
  • What programme you require (Court and Date)
  • How many programmes you require
  • The names of all guests attending
  • Which hotel you would like to stay in
  • What type of room you require – double/twin/single (single rooms will be subject to a supplement)
  • Arrival date at the hotel
  • How many nights you require
  • Any special dietary requirements

Payment details – this must be done by credit card (using the credit card form on this website); a 2% booking fee will be applied.

Can I book additional room nights through you?

You can book additional nights with us at any of the hotels we offer. These can be added at the time of booking or at a later date subject to availability. For a list of room types and prices please see our hotel section.

Can I purchase Afternoon Tea?

Afternoon Tea is included within The Gatsby Club programmes and can be purchased as an extra within The Wimbledon Experience. Afternoon Tea must be ordered and paid for prior to your arrival at The Wimbledon Experience. This can be done at the time of booking or by contacting your salesperson who will add this onto your online booking. Afternoon Tea will be served daily from 4.00pm – 6.00pm within The Wimbledon Experience.

Can we book theatre packages?

Yes. When booking your programme you will be able to select theatre packages as an optional extra. Please let us know which show would be your preference and we will do our best to fulfil your request.

Are there any taxis around?

Taxis are available outside the Grounds on the ranks near Gates 4 & 5 on Church Road. Please note a taxi without a yellow light on is already occupied. Please only use licensed taxis.

What is the dress code?

The dress code in The Wimbledon Experience is informal. The dress code in The Gatsby Club is smart/casual. No jeans, no tennis shoes, no sandals, no shorts, no caps and no flip flops please.

Where are The Wimbledon Experience and the Gatsby Club located?

The Wimbledon Experience is situated next to The Gatsby Club in the grounds of Wimbledon Cricket Club, Church Road, Wimbledon SW19 5AG. The entrance is opposite the main gates of The All England Lawn Tennis Club on Church Road in Wimbledon, Southwest London. Follow the signs for Car Park 5.

What are the opening hours?

The Wimbledon Experience will open at 10.30am and close at 2.30pm, reopening again at 4.00pm for Afternoon Tea and closing at 7.00pm. Please note that Afternoon Tea will need to be pre-ordered at least five days prior to your attendance. Please see our extras page for details.

The Gatsby Club will open at 10.30am. The bar and The Gatsby Club will close at 7.00pm.

 

Is the The Wimbledon Experience buffet lunch included in every tour?

 

  • Buffet lunch is only included in the Championship Programmes – it is not included in the Baseline Programmes. The buffet lunch is available as an upgrade for anyone who has purchased the Baseline Programme
  • Lunch is served between 11.30am – 2.00pm (no admittance after this time).
  • Upon check-in at The Wimbledon Experience reception, those on a Championship Programme will be issued with a wristband to gain access to the lunch buffet.
  • Please note we cannot accept anybody for lunch if they do not have their wristbands. If you have purchased a Baseline Programme you can upgrade to a buffet lunch at an additional charge.

Is there a free shuttle bus?

Yes. There is a complimentary shuttle bus which will transfer you to The Wimbledon Experience or the Gatsby Club and back to Southfields at the end of the day. The complimentary service shuttle bus times are as follows:
10.00am-1.00pm
5.00pm – 7.00pm
Every day of the fortnight

Please note there will be no bus runs after these times. The buses run approximately every 15-20 minutes. Traffic can be bad with delays of over an hour and you might prefer to make the 10 minute walk instead. Alternatively we can provide transfers for you.

How do I get from my hotel to The Wimbledon Experience / Gatsby Club, Wimbledon?

The Wimbledon Experience provides you with an All Day Travel Card on the Underground network. This is valid for unlimited off peak travel after 09.30am until midnight anywhere in Zones 1-6 in London. Just find the nearest underground station to your hotel (ask your hotel concierge) and head to Southfields underground station on the District line (green line on a tube map).

How do I get my tickets?

Your event documentation (information pack) will be made available for collection upon check-in at your hotel. This contains your full itinerary, London Underground travel card, event information and event card. You must bring this Information Pack to The Wimbledon Experience or The Gatsby Club where you will receive your reserved court ticket. Please note that due to security reasons The Wimbledon Experience will never send out tickets in the post.
